Build quality that lasts—one adjustment at a time
Your mission is simple: keep production moving and keep quality high. You’ll blend hands-on assembly with data-driven decisions, partnering closely with engineers to make sure every part, component, subassembly, and final assembly meets the mark.
Impact You’ll Make
As a developing support individual contributor, you will help the team reach operational targets within your area. Your work is somewhat limited in scope but vital—especially on smaller, less structured task-focused activities where reliable execution matters.
What Success Looks Like
- Equipment and line readiness through precise set-up and calibration.
- Effective rework paired with rigorous quality testing across the build cycle.
- Continuous, software-enabled monitoring of operating data and timely on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.
- Contributing ideas and assistance to develop methods and procedures that control or enhance manufacturing processes.
- Active participation in engineering experiments, capturing learnings that drive improvements.
How You’ll Collaborate & Grow
- Nature of Supervision: Work under general supervision; expect less detailed instructions and moderate peer review as you build independence.
- Communication & Influence: Engage primarily with teammates in your department, sharing and interpreting information to reach alignment.
- Innovation & Complexity: Operate within established processes and defined boundaries; identify straightforward problems and escalate to your supervisor for resolution.
