    Job Summary

    Performs technical work involving the fabrication, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electro-mechanical equipment and systems. Supports engineering and testing operations by working on prototype units, electronic assemblies, and mechanical components to ensure proper system performance and reliability.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Operates and maintains electronic equipment, test equipment, and fabrication machinery
    • Fabricates, assembles, tests, modifies, and repairs electro-mechanical components and systems
    • Works on prototype units and supports development of new systems
    • Evaluates equipment performance and determines necessary modifications
    • Develops and applies testing techniques to ensure proper calibration and operation
    • Conducts functional testing and records results of components and systems
    • Troubleshoots and repairs electronic circuitry, control devices, and mechanical systems
    • Uses diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and circuit testers
    • Coordinates with engineers to evaluate system compatibility and performance
    • Assists in developing operational procedures and implementing technical improvements
    • Maintains inventory of tools, parts, and equipment
    • Provides guidance and training to junior technicians when required
    • Performs inspections and ensures compliance with maintenance standards
    • Performs additional related duties as assigned

    Minimum Requirements

    • Technical diploma or equivalent training in electrical, mechanical, or related field
    • Extensive experience in electro-mechanical or technical roles
    • Strong knowledge of electronics, mechanical systems, and fabrication techniques
    • Experience using hand tools, machinery, and diagnostic equipment
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
    • Basic computer and software skills
    • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
    • Effective communication skills
