Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician

$30 - $36/Hour | Salt Lake City, UT | Contract-to-Hire

Smart Staffing is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial production machinery and automated equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Work with motors, electrical controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Read schematics and use diagnostic tools.
• Follow safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Requirements
• Industrial maintenance or electro-mechanical experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of PLCs, multimeters, and electrical schematics.
• Preventive maintenance experience and strong mechanical aptitude.
• 3+ years of experience preferred; technical training is a plus.

Preferred Experience

Food manufacturing/GMP, automation, robotics, servo motors, thermoforming, plastics manufacturing, welding, or fabrication. Experience with GN, SembCorp, or Lyle equipment is a plus.
