Picture this: It’s a peak-production night. A bucket elevator starts to chatter, a VFD on the MCC flashes a fault, and a 4–20 mA loop begins drifting. You prioritize, isolate, troubleshoot, and restore—safely and efficiently. If that sounds like your kind of challenge, this role is built for you.

Your mission

• Elevate plant reliability by combining industrial electrical know-how (to 480V) with strong mechanical skills.
• Prevent failures through PM/PdM and respond decisively to corrective and emergency work.
• Champion safe work practices, precise documentation, and quality craftsmanship.

What you’ll work on

• Mechanical: conveyors (drag, screw, bucket elevators), pellet mills, hammermills, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, couplings, pumps, augers, fans, blowers, and rotary valves.
• Electrical & controls: 24V control circuits, 4–20 mA instrumentation, sensors, thermocouples, AC/DC motors, starters, overloads, relays, contactors, MCCs, and VFDs—using voltmeters, meggers, and 4–20 mA clamp meters.
• Power transmission: install, align, and replace motors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, sprockets, chains, and belts.
• Hydraulics & pneumatics: troubleshoot cylinders, valves, pumps, compressors, regulators, and related controls.
• Automation: support sensors, proximity switches, photo eyes, level controls, and general instrumentation on automated equipment.
• Projects: assist with equipment installations, commissioning, and startups.
• Documentation: read/interpret drawings, schematics, blueprints, manuals, and specs; complete work orders and PMs in the CMMS.

What sets you up for success

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in Industrial/Electrical/Electromechanical Technology preferred.
• 5+ years in industrial maintenance within manufacturing, processing, or heavy industry.
• Proficiency across mechanical and industrial electrical troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of AC/DC motors, motor controls, VFDs, MCCs, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and industrial power transmission.
• Comfort with hand/power tools, rigging, forklifts, and aerial lifts; unwavering focus on safety and LOTO.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and prioritization skills; able to work independently and with a team.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CMMS tools preferred.

Where and how you’ll work

• Based in Woodville, TX.
• 12-hour shifts with open availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as business requires.
• Heavy industrial environment: dust, noise, vibration, heat, and moving machinery; indoor/outdoor conditions.
• Physical demands include standing, walking, ladder work, kneeling, crouching, reaching, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working at heights or in confined spaces. PPE required.
• Expect rotating shifts, overtime, and emergency callouts based on operational needs.

Compensation, hire type, and benefits

• Up to $40/hr DOE.
