Step Into the Build: A Day in This Role

At 5:00 AM in Franklin, WI, you’ll power up your station and rotate through multiple production and test cells, assembling and validating electrical power equipment from detailed engineering documentation. Your day blends hands-on wiring, precision mechanical builds, energized testing, and troubleshooting—always following established production procedures and safety practices.

Core Responsibilities

• Assemble and validate electrical products from bills of material, blueprints, engineering documentation, and change notices.
• Conduct electrical testing at defined timing stations and run equipment through required operations to verify performance.
• Execute mechanical sub-assemblies (including disconnect assemblies) and integrate them with electrical builds.
• Interpret complex blueprints, wiring drawings, schematic diagrams, and specifications to ensure accuracy.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues during assembly and test.
• Operate hand tools, wiring equipment, wrenches, torque tools, machining tools, and other required production equipment.
• Work safely while meeting quality, timing, and procedural requirements in a fast-paced, multi-station manufacturing environment.

Required Background

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of electronic assembly and wiring experience, or applicable technical/trade education as considered by the client.
• High-voltage electrical experience for test-cell responsibilities.
• Proficiency reading complex blueprints, wiring drawings, schematic diagrams, and specifications.
• Hands-on electrical or mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with hand tools, wiring equipment, wrenches, torque tools, and other production tools.
• Ability to meet applicable respirator certification requirements.
• Capability to perform the essential functions of the role—standing, walking, bending, reaching, handling components, and frequently lifting 5–50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Availability Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM, plus overtime 2–3 Fridays per month.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree.
• Electrical or mechanical trade-school education.
• Previous hands-on experience with energized electrical testing.

Compensation & Benefits

• $27.00/hour – firm
• Contract-to-perm opportunity.

Schedule & Location

• Franklin, WI
• 1st shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM; overtime 2–3 Fridays/month
