What you’ll tackle

• Keep injection molding, extrusion, thermoforming, and flexographic printing assets in spec and on schedule
• Diagnose malfunctions using test instruments, manuals, blueprints, and parts catalogs
• Disassemble, repair, recondition, and reassemble equipment components to factory tolerances
• Execute routine PM: oils and lubricants, filters, batteries, drives and belts, compressors, power supplies, conveyors
• Verify dimensions/clearances; align and adjust using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges
• Install and commission machinery, piping, and building systems to support production lines and presses
• Perform light facility work (basic carpentry and plumbing); weld and cut using MIG/Arc
• Maintain an orderly maintenance shop and properly care for tools and equipment
• Model safety—PPE every time: hairnet, earplugs, gloves, apron, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes—and follow all procedures

Your toolkit

• Hand/power tools: hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches
• Precision instruments and diagnostic equipment
• Controls: PLC/ladder logic (C programming exposure a plus), VFDs, servos

Must-haves

• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment
• Passing score on the Ramsay Mechanical Aptitude Test
• Proficiency reading electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints/schematics
• Welding (TIG and Stick) and basic machining (mill, lathe, grinder, saw, drill) a plus
• Plumbing abilities (threading, soldering)
• Systems troubleshooting: Mechanical (gears, pulleys, chains, belts, shafts, gearboxes, pumps, compressors; HVAC a plus), Electrical (AC/DC motors/drives, 480V 3-phase, transformers, control power, relays), Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and Electronic controls
• Dependable attendance and a self-directed, priority-driven mindset
• Physical capability to stand 8 hours, lift 50 lbs frequently, and wear PPE
