About the Role:
Join our company as an Electro-Mechanical Field Service Technician responsible for supporting AW Machinery's design, manufacturing, installation, and customer support operations. This position plays a critical role in delivering high-quality custom machinery while maintaining AW Machinery's standards for safety, quality, customer service, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Support our electrical and mechanical design and manufacturing processes.
- Conduct factory evaluation, testing, and troubleshooting of machines.
- Lead and support field commissioning and service to customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and operation of machines.
- Work closely with engineering, production, purchasing, sales, and management.
- Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
- Prepare technical documentation and service reports.
- Implement safety standards and best practices in all engineering processes.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users and maintenance teams.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in machine operations & support.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree in mechatronics, technical training or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in field service or equivalent.
- Understanding of AutoCAD and Blueprints.
- Understanding of PLC, HMI, Drives, Motors, etc.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and elements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
