About the Role:


Join our company as an Electro-Mechanical Field Service Technician responsible for supporting AW Machinery's design, manufacturing, installation, and customer support operations. This position plays a critical role in delivering high-quality custom machinery while maintaining AW Machinery's standards for safety, quality, customer service, and continuous improvement.


Responsibilities:


  • Support our electrical and mechanical design and manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct factory evaluation, testing, and troubleshooting of machines.
  • Lead and support field commissioning and service to customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and operation of machines.
  • Work closely with engineering, production, purchasing, sales, and management.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
  • Prepare technical documentation and service reports.
  • Implement safety standards and best practices in all engineering processes.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users and maintenance teams.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in machine operations & support.

Requirements:


  • Relevant degree in mechatronics, technical training or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in field service or equivalent.
  • Understanding of AutoCAD and Blueprints.
  • Understanding of PLC, HMI, Drives, Motors, etc.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and elements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
