    A day in this role

    Your morning starts with a service ticket: a customer’s system is down. You arrive on-site with a well-stocked toolkit, walk through the issue with the customer, and quickly isolate the fault using schematics and service manuals. By midday, you’ve replaced a worn component, verified the electrical connections, and run a full functional test. You log your notes, update the service report, and head to your next call—this time for scheduled preventative maintenance—wrapping up the day with clean documentation and a satisfied client.

    What you’ll do

    • Install, commission, and repair equipment at customer facilities
    • Diagnose mechanical and basic electrical faults; perform corrective actions
    • Execute routine preventative maintenance to maximize uptime
    • Interpret technical documentation, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
    • Create accurate service reports and maintain organized records
    • Communicate clearly with customers about findings and next steps
    • Work safely and adhere to company procedures and quality standards
    • Travel to customer locations as assignments require

    What you bring

    • Background in field service, maintenance, or hands-on mechanical repair (preferred)
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
    • Foundational electrical knowledge is beneficial
    • Comfort reading service manuals, diagrams, and schematics
    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
    • Professional communication and customer-first mindset
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors in varied conditions
    • Reliable, self-directed, and effective working independently
