    Description

    Be the Difference Between Downtime and Uptime

    Keep high-speed manufacturing assets safe, stable, and optimized. You’ll lead with precision maintenance, decisive troubleshooting, and data-driven improvements—elevating OEE and quality every shift.

    Shifts Available
    • 2nd: Mon–Fri, 1:45 pm–10:00 pm
    • 3rd: Sun–Thu, 9:45 pm–6:00 am

    Why This Role Matters

    • Safeguard people and equipment by enforcing Lockout/Tagout and correcting hazards proactively.
    • Execute PMs as scheduled by the Maintenance Manager/TPM Leader; convert findings from operator checklists into action; return assets to showroom condition.
    • Run efficient mold/tool changeovers using SMED practices; verify safe, stable restarts.
    • Diagnose hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and process faults; handle building maintenance as assigned.
    • Maintain meticulous CMMS records in MicroMain; record parts usage; escalate low stock and reorder triggers; open quick tickets for emergencies.
    • Partner with the Production Manager and/or Senior Operator on equipment training; recommend new training content.
    • Champion housekeeping and 5S-level standards.
    • Communicate status, risks, and improvement ideas across maintenance, production, and leadership.
    • Engage in plant teams: safety, quality, sustainability, community involvement, OEE, maintenance, employee wellness, brainstorming, and continuous improvement.
    • Drive your growth: meet with your manager, request training, pursue continuing education, set and track development goals.
    • Immediately report any concerns related to quality, food safety, GMP, and food defense.

    • High School diploma or GED required

    Physical Requirements

    • Climb ladders, stairs, and equipment with agility

    • Pushing/pulling with upper extremities
    • Lifting and horizontal movement of objects
    • Grasping with fingers and palm; fine motor work (fingering)
    • Clear verbal communication
    • Hearing capacity of no less than 40 dB at 500 Hz, 100 Hz, and 2000 Hz (with or without correction); able to discern fine machine sounds
    • Repetitive motions of hands and arms
    • Near vision sufficient for data analysis and detecting small defects
    • Exertion: Medium Work—up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, 10 lbs constantly

    Working Conditions

    • Inside and outside environments
    • Potential exposure to temperatures above 100°F for over one hour
    • Noise and vibration (whole body/extremities)
    • Proximity to moving parts, electrical current, and chemicals
    • Atmospheric conditions including fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, or poor ventilation
    • Exposure to oils and cutting fluids (air and/or skin)
