Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician to build and assemble control panels, industrial enclosures, and small wired box assemblies. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, can read basic schematics, and takes pride in producing high-quality electro-mechanical assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble control panels, electrical enclosures, and box builds
- Perform wiring, crimping, and wire harnessing
- Assemble and solder PCB-based components
- Read and follow schematics, drawings, and bills of material
- Use hand tools and measurement tools to ensure precise assembly
- Follow ESD handling procedures and quality standards
- Work collaboratively to complete projects efficiently
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with electro-mechanical or electrical assembly
- Knowledge of wire harnessing, crimping, and soldering
- Ability to interpret assembly drawings and work instructions
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, or medical manufacturing (a plus)
- IPC 610/620 or J-STD certifications (preferred)
- Familiarity with ISO or AS9100 manufacturing environments
