Description

Job Title: Electromechanical Assembler
Location: North Reading, MA (100% Onsite)
Duration: 12 months contract
Pay range: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour on W2

Job Responsibilities:
  • Applicants must be able to read and interpret work orders, assembly drawings, schematics, and wire run lists to determine required materials and the proper sequence of assembly.
  • Work may also be based on models or verbal instructions.
  • Perform standardized, repetitive assembly and labeling of components, assemblies, and subassemblies.
  • Inventory and verify material kits using the bill of materials; follow process documentation and work order travelers.
  • Gather required tools, materials, and components; organize and maintain an efficient workstation.
  • Route wire or tubing per prints, wire run lists, or harness boards; cut materials to length; bundle, wrap, and tie wires or tubes.
  • Terminate wires or tubing using soldering, crimping, or direct termination methods.
  • Use common hand tools including files, wire strippers, screwdrivers, and crimping tools.
  • Perform basic circuit continuity checks, leak tests, or simple go/no go electronic tests.
  • Assemble products within established time and quality standards; visually inspect completed work.
  • Build electro mechanical assemblies, cables, and wire harnesses.

Must Have
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 3 years of related assembly experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions, drawings, and build notes.
