Job Summary
The Electro/Mechanical Assembler is responsible for building, testing, and inspecting electro-mechanical assemblies in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role supports both sub-assembly and system-level builds, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assembly & Testing
Build, test, and inspect electro-mechanical sub-assemblies and system-level hardware
Perform in-process testing during manufacturing as required
Complete and maintain Device History Records (DHR)
Perform assembly and testing of reconditioned hardware when needed
Manufacturing & Compliance
Perform packaging functions when required
Maintain compliance with QSR, ISO, Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) policies
Support daily manufacturing operations, service support, and regulatory compliance
Participate in internal audits of manufacturing processes
Tools & Technical Work
Use hand tools including screwdrivers, wrenches, torque tools, crimpers, and soldering irons
Perform inspections using calipers, indicators, and multimeters
Follow written assembly instructions, drawings, and test procedures
Safety & Continuous Improvement
Identify workplace risks and support initiatives to reduce injury and hazards
Support training activities as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
Experience
Prior experience in electro-mechanical or mechanical assembly
Hands-on experience with hand tools (multimeter, caliper, screwdrivers, etc.)
Stable work history preferred (no excessive job hopping)
Technical Skills
Ability to read and follow mechanical drawings and procedures
Experience with basic electrical and mechanical inspection equipment
Comfort working in a manufacturing environment
