Akkodis is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler for a Contract job with a client in Broken Arrow, OK. The ideal candidate must have experience in electro-mechanical assembly, wiring, and mechanical assembly processes, along with the ability to read work instructions and utilize hand tools.
Rate Range: $20/hour to $23/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Electro-Mechanical Assembler job responsibilities include:
Assemble electro-mechanical products and components according to blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
Fasten and secure parts using bolts, screws, rivets, clips, and other assembly hardware.
Perform wiring activities including wire stripping, crimping, soldering, and cable routing.
Inspect assembled products to ensure compliance with quality standards and engineering specifications.
Test products and assemblies to verify performance and functionality requirements.
Review pick lists, pull materials, label components, and stage parts for production and shipment.
Package kits and assemblies for customer orders and aftermarket support requirements.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following company safety and quality procedures.
Desired Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
0-3 years of experience in:
Electro-Mechanical Assembly, Mechanical Assembly, Manufacturing, Production Environments.
Strong understanding of:
Electro-Mechanical Assembly Techniques, Basic Wiring Practices, Assembly Procedures, Quality Standards.
Experience using: Hand Tools, Power Tools, Measuring Devices.
Ability to read and follow: Blueprints, Assembly Drawings, Work Instructions, Technical Documentation.
Basic mathematical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and production needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience reading blueprints and assembly drawings.
Experience with: Wiring, Crimping, Soldering, Cable Assembly.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Experience working in manufacturing, industrial, oil & gas, energy, or instrumentation environments.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods during the workday.
Frequent use of hands for assembly, wiring, and tool operation.
Ability to lift:
Up to 10 lbs regularly.
Up to 25 lbs frequently.
Up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Ability to work with close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustments as needed for detailed assembly work.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
