    About the Role

As an Electro‑Hydraulic Systems Technician, you turn schematics and hardware into reliable, cleanly built, and well‑tested hydraulic installations. You’ll blend hands‑on fabrication, precision hose work, careful system start‑ups, and basic electrical wiring to deliver systems that meet exacting specifications.

    A Day in the Life

    • Review drawings, specs, and customer requirements before laying out components.
    • Fabricate and install mounting hardware and custom brackets to support pumps, valves, manifolds, and related components.
    • Assemble and route hydraulic hoses; verify every fitting/connection meets cleanliness and torque targets.
    • Commission systems: perform pressure tests and flow verification; set relief valves and adjust flow rates using gauges and flow meters.
    • Troubleshoot issues uncovered during installation and testing; document findings and corrective actions.
    • Wire related electrical elements, including 12‑volt valve circuits and 120/240‑volt generator and outlet connections.
    • Maintain accurate records—timecards, installation logs, and test results—and ensure work aligns with internal specs, OEM guidance, and customer expectations.
    • Contribute ideas to streamline installs or enhance hydraulic designs as part of continuous improvement.
    • Keep your work area clean, safe, and organized; adhere to company safety policies.
    • Pitch in on equipment maintenance, stability testing, and occasional field service resolutions as needed.
