Role overview
Own the end‑to‑end design of control systems for custom machinery. Work cross‑functionally, deliver on schedule, and support fellow engineers with clear, manufacturable designs using EPLAN and AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical.
Core responsibilities
Produce detailed control designs across electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic domains for bespoke machines.
Develop schematics and panel layouts in EPLAN and AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical.
Prepare accurate bills of materials aligned to each design package.
Partner with Manufacturing Engineering to define assembly steps, process control plans, and quality workmanship procedures.
Maintain continuous communication with program managers and controls engineers to keep projects moving smoothly.
Apply current industry concepts, practices, and procedures in daily work.
Qualifications
5+ years of industry experience in controls/electrical design.
Minimum 2 years of hands‑on work with AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical.
Demonstrated proficiency in sizing electrical systems.
Ability to adapt quickly to design changes and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Success looks like
