Electricians (Both Maintenance and Master)

In this role, you will be a key player in ensuring the seamless operation of electrical systems critical to our mining operations. You will tackle challenges both below and above ground, utilizing your expertise in maintaining, installing, and repairing systems that uphold our commitment to safety and efficiency in an industrial setting. Your work will keep our infrastructure running smoothly, providing consistent power to essential equipment.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on electrical systems including motors, transformers, and control panels.
- Utilize your knowledge of electrical theory to evaluate the performance of electrical machinery and control equipment.
- Manage 480 VAC 3 phase motor control systems.
- Diagnose malfunctions and execute effective solutions while dismantling and reassembling equipment as necessary.
- Employ various diagnostic tools for equipment testing and repair.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area through diligent housekeeping practices.
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork during and after each shift.
- Operate independently with minimal supervision while ensuring compliance with all safety protocols.
- Effectively communicate safety concerns and operational issues to management.
- Engage in cross-training opportunities and multitask across various functions as required.

**Qualifications:**
- A high school diploma or equivalency is required.
- A minimum of 4 years of industrial electrical experience is essential.
- Possession of a Journeyman card or Electrical Certification.
- Strong background in diagnosing and troubleshooting industrial electrical systems.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is preferred.
- Proficient in reading and applying technical documents, such as blueprints and schematics.
- Experience with equipment including transformers, generator windings, and motor starters is advantageous.
- Competence in using a wide range of tools, from hand tools to power tools, and lifting devices.
- Effective problem-solving skills and proficiency in English for communication.

**Physical Requirements:**
- Capable of wearing PPE, including steel-toed boots and safety eyewear.
- Ability to work in varied temperatures, both indoors and outdoors, year-round.
- Must be physically fit to regularly lift up to 50+ lbs, climb, crawl, and perform other physical tasks.
- Required to pass a physical and drug screening.
