Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot electrical wiring and fixtures in buildings and systems.
- Install control and distribution apparatus such as: switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels.
- Cut, bend, thread, and install electrical conduits, conductors, and pipes.
- Test electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.
- Communicate with team members to ensure that work is done efficiently and proficiently.
- Perform work in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Understanding of the National Electrical Code.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, and electrical test equipment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
- Ability to work under pressure with strict time deadlines.
- Ability to follow written instructions and work orders.
- Willingness to travel, and work an adjusting schedule to respond to emergencies.
- Must possess and maintain a reliable attendance record.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
- Must be able to communicate in English, both oral and written.
