Electrician

• Location: Hamden, CT

Amphenol Spectra-Strip is a leader in hyper scale data center bulk wire solutions. We develop and manufacture gigabit copper cable solutions for high performance and cloud compute applications. We are currently seeking an E-1 Licensed Electrician to join our team in Hamden, CT.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Factory electrical maintenance
• Abating unused machine drops
• Installing electrical drops for new machinery
• Disconnecting, reconnecting machinery as needed
• Facilities electrical maintenance
• Trouble shooting machine controls
• Installing, upgrading PLC programming

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 years' experience as a licensed electrician working in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Ability to troubleshoot and electrically maintain machinery, install electrical drops, wire new and used equipment
• Ability to program, troubleshoot and repair Siemens and Allen Bradly PLCs, as well as other control systems
• Familiarity with the FIXX cmms is a plus
