Electrician - Licensed Journeyman

BlueWave is hiring a Licensed Journeyman Electrician for an industrial construction client based in South Texas. As a Licensed Journeyman Electrician, you will independently install electrical raceways, pathways, conduit, and cabling for a large-scale construction project. You will perform field layout, interpret electrical drawings, resolve installation issues, and help maintain high standards for safety and workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical pathways, conveyance systems, raceways, and conduit
• Pull, route, and organize electrical cable
• Perform electrical field layout
• Read and interpret electrical drawings
• Troubleshoot field installation issues
• Use conduit installation tools, cable-pulling equipment, and electrical test equipment
• Support less-experienced electricians in the field
• Verify completed work for installation quality
• Follow applicable electrical safety procedures and project requirements

Requirements

• Journeyman-level electrical experience
• Current electrical license
• Industrial construction experience
• Hands-on raceway and conduit installation experience
• Cable-pulling and routing experience
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
• Ability to execute field work with limited supervision
• Ability to work approximately 60–72 hours per week
• Availability for a 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. shift
• NCCER credentials are preferred
• Experience with semiconductor, manufacturing, power-generation, or other large-scale industrial construction projects is preferred

Employment Type: 13-week contract-to-hire position, 100% on-site in South Texas
