Position Overview

Share your trade. Train the next generation of electricians.

We're looking for an experienced electrician who's ready to bring their real-world knowledge into the classroom. If you've worked in the field and want to help others build a career in the electrical trade, this is a great opportunity to make an impact.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Teach hands-on electrical skills to students preparing for careers in the trade
• Demonstrate safe use of tools, equipment, and electrical systems
• Train students in residential, commercial, and/or industrial wiring
• Prepare students for licensure and industry certifications
• Support and mentor students as they develop their skills

What You Bring:

• Strong, hands-on experience in the electrical trade
• Knowledge of electrical fundamentals (AC/DC) and NEC standards
• Experience with wiring, conduit installation, and power distribution
• Familiarity with motor controls, transformers, or PLCs (preferred)
• Ability to clearly explain and demonstrate concepts to others

Additional Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

You must meet one of the following:

• Associate degree in Electrical Technology (or an equivalent field) plus five (5) years of electrical work experience

OR

• Bachelor's degree plus three (3) years of electrical work experience

OR

• five or more (5+) years of electrical work experience and willingness to complete an Electrical Technology Associate degree within three (3) years

Preferred:

• Licensed Master or Journeyman Electrician

No Teaching Experience? No Problem.
