Pay: $29.55 per hour
Schedule: Full time, Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
Type: 3-month contract position through Clean2TheKore. Do great work and you could be hired on permanently by the hospital.
Keep the power on at a large Savannah hospital. You'll maintain and repair the electrical systems that keep patients safe, from emergency power to fire alarms and nurse call.
What you'll do- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on normal and emergency electrical power distribution equipment, fire alarm systems and nurse call systems
- Install new electrical equipment
- Use blueprints, schematics, diagrams and manufacturer manuals to diagnose failures and pick the right replacement parts
- Help train other electricians on preventive maintenance and new equipment
- Give technical input on repairing or replacing equipment and on new purchases
- Document all work orders in the hospital's maintenance system
- Work to NFPA, NEC and building code standards
What you need- Electrician certification (required)
- Knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems (required)
- Experience with electrical testing equipment
- Fire alarm and nurse call system experience a plus
- Background check and 10-panel drug screen (including marijuana) before you start
