Position: Electrician

Location: Houston, TX 77017
Pay Rate: $21.00/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
Saturday: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Additional Hours: Occasional extended hours until approximately 7:30 PM
Work Schedule: Currently operating on a 6-day workweek
Overtime: Paid after 40 hours worked

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to assist with the installation, rough-in, and final trim-out of electrical systems in units during regular operations. The Electrician will work closely with the Supervisor and Lead Man to ensure electrical installations are completed safely, accurately, and in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on electrical experience, the ability to read electrical prints and schematics, and strong troubleshooting skills.

Essential Job Functions

• Coordinate with the Supervisor and Lead Man on electrical installation activities.

• Oversee and assist with the layout and installation of electrical components.

• Perform rough-in and final trim-out electrical work.

• Coordinate with the Supervisor regarding material availability, shortages, and job requirements.

• Read, understand, and interpret electrical prints, blueprints, and schematics.

• Communicate information from prints and schematics clearly to the crew.

• Troubleshoot electrical systems, including AC/DC circuits and data/communication systems.

• Ensure electrical work is completed correctly, safely, and according to project requirements.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

• Complete assigned work in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications

• Previous electrical installation experience required.

• Ability to read and understand electrical prints and schematics.

• Experience with rough-in and final electrical installation.

• Strong troubleshooting skills with AC/DC electrical systems.

• Experience with data and communication wiring is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to work a 6-day schedule and overtime as needed.

• Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.

Compensation & Schedule

Pay: $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
Saturday: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Overtime: Paid after 40 hours
Extended Hours: May be required based on workload, occasionally until approximately 7:30 PM.
