Electrician Helper

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least one year of commercial electrical experience who is looking to gain additional field experience while earning travel pay, per diem, and company-provided housing. Must be able to perform physically demanding construction work, including: Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing for extended periods.

Electrician Helper (Travel) - $1,750 + Per Diem + Housing weekly
Savard Personnel Group is seeking a dependable Electrician Helper to assist experienced commercial electricians on a commercial construction project in Arkansas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least one year of commercial electrical experience who is looking to gain additional field experience while earning travel pay, per diem, and company-provided housing.
Location: Arkansas (Travel Required, not provided)Pay & Benefits

• $20.00 - $24.00 per hour (DOE)
• $45/day Per Diem
• Housing provided by client (shared accommodations may be required)
• Travel pay provided 
• Weekly pay
• Overtime opportunities may be available

Schedule

• Monday - Friday
• 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Hours may vary based on project needs
• Weekend work may be required
• Project expected to last 4-5 weeks, weather permitting

Responsibilities

• Assist commercial electricians with electrical installations and repairs.
• Pull wire and install conduit, boxes, fixtures, and supports.
• Assist with installing lighting, receptacles, switches, and electrical devices.
• Load and unload materials and maintain a clean, organized job site.
• Measure, cut, and bend conduit under supervision.
• Operate and work safely from scissor lifts and manlifts when required.
• Follow all safety procedures and assist with daily job site tasks.

Qualifications

• Commercial electrical helper experience required.
• Experience using common electrical hand and power tools.
• Basic knowledge of commercial electrical installations.
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
• Must have reliable transportation to travel to Arkansas (personal vehicle required).
• English speaking required.

Requirements

• Must wear Full PPE at all times.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding construction work, including:
  • Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing for extended periods.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Working at heights and in varying weather conditions.
• Clear Background check 
• Clean drug screen
