BlackRock Resources is hiring an experienced Industrial Electrician for an established food manufacturing facility in Edenton, NC!
We're looking for a hands-on electrical professional who knows industrial power distribution, PLC systems, motor controls, and electrical troubleshooting. If you enjoy solving challenging problems and working with automated manufacturing equipment, we want to talk to you!
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems and manufacturing equipment.
Diagnose electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and control system failures.
Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), including online code review to assist with troubleshooting.
Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical power distribution systems.
Troubleshoot electrical controls, sensors, transducers, and process instrumentation.
Perform electrical wiring, conduit installation, cable termination, and control panel wiring.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
Calibrate and maintain electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic instrumentation.
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, and equipment adjustments.
Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective repairs.
Partner with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
Follow OSHA, NFPA, NEC, and facility safety standards.
Associate degree in Electronic Technology with 2 years of relevant experience OR 5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
Strong experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems and manufacturing equipment.
Knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation.
Experience with electrical distribution, motor controls, and control systems.
Ability to read electrical schematics, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals.
Experience using electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
Understanding of electrical safety procedures and industrial maintenance practices.
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
Food manufacturing experience is a plus!
Pay: $29.76/hour- $34.66/hour
