Duties and Responsibilities: Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing:o Conductors, cables, conduit, tubing, fittings, electrical boxes, and enclosureso Single-phase and three-phase motors, DC motors, starters and motor control devices, drives (AC and DC)o Grounding, bonding, and cathodic protection systems, overcurrent, ground fault, arc fault, under and over voltage protection, and surge protection deviceso Low and high voltage systems and components, including single-phase, three phase, and high voltage transformerso HVAC electrical components, electrical heating systems and controlso Lighting systems and components, emergency lights, and exit signso Security and surveillance, communications systems. Willing and able to be trained and learn new technologies as the skills of an Electrician advance with new technologies and applicationsBasic Qualifications: Licensed Journeyman-level electrician or successful completion of state certified apprenticeship program in utility systems, industrial plant, process plant, or power plant with motor controls and station power systems operating at a minimum of 4160 volts.
