Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the industrial sector, is seeking a Electricial Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Electricial Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title:Electricial Maintenance Technician
Location:Vidor, Texas
Pay Range: $30 - $35 per hour
What's the Job?
- Inspect, install, repair, and calibrate electrical and electronic apparatus and circuits across the plant.
- Troubleshoot and repair facility and production equipment, including motors, generators, and control systems.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical specifications to ensure accurate maintenance and installation.
- Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on electrical systems, ensuring safety and compliance with standards.
- Assist in designing and implementing electrical systems and automation programs, including PLCs and process controls.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 2 years of direct electrician experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to pass an Electrical Union Test covering motors, controls, schematics, AC/DC theory, and automation systems.
- Proficiency with electrical tools, testing instruments, and safety procedures.
- Knowledge of high voltage systems, control panels, and power distribution.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work rotating shifts (4 on - 4 off, 12-hour shifts, nights & days).
