Nesco Resource is hiring an experienced Electrical Test Technician for a leading electrical equipment manufacturer in Bedford, OH. This first-shift opportunity offers stable hours, competitive pay, and long-term potential for a skilled technician with electrical testing and troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing and inspections in accordance with UL, NEC, IEEE, and NETA standards.
• Test products including switchboards, utility metering enclosures, transfer switches, control panels, service pedestals, metal-clad switchgear, and generator connection enclosures.
• Verify compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and identify corrective actions.
• Analyze test results and prepare reports for engineering and management.
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment.
• Provide technical support for product start-up, troubleshooting, warranty issues, and replacement parts.
• Travel for customer support only when required.
• Follow all safety procedures and identify potential hazards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Electrical Test Technician or similar role.
• Knowledge of UL, NEC, IEEE, and NETA standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
