Job Description

Serve as Electrical Technology Teacher and fulfill responsibilities of teacher as described in the Clay County Schools Job Description Manual and other duties as assigned by the principal or vocational director.

Qualifications

Certified Master Electrician with a minimum of:

• Four years work experience (8000 hours) as an electrician; or
• Two years work experience (4000 hours) as an electrician and possess an associate degree in related field; or
• Two years work experience (4000) hours as an electrician with a bachelor degree

Must be eligible for Career Technical certification or permit and be willing to complete certification program through the WV Department of Education CTE Educator Prep program to become highly qualified.

Compensation

Salary based on experience and education level per Clay County Board of Education Salary Schedule, plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation.
