    Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, an Electrical Technician will conduct repetitive bench or line assembly operations to produce a high quantity of product/system assemblies without sacrificing quality.

    Primary Responsibilities

    · Assemble and wire electrical and mechanical systems, including cable harnesses and other wired mechanical assemblies.

    · Neatly solder, route and terminate wiring in a variety of applications.

    · Experience with IPC-620 and/or J-STD electrical standards is preferred

    · Effectively communicating engineering or manufacturing issues with others.

    · Perform other job-related duties as assigned

    Knowledge and Skill

    · Proficient in reading, understanding, and building to mechanical prints and electrical schematics or run sheets.

    · Proficient with soldering

    · Experience with pin and lug crimpers is preferred

    · Neatness and attention to detail.

    · Teamwork and strong orientation skills.

    · Problem solving/analysis, decision making skills.

    · Proficient with all common hand tools and measuring equipment.

    · A thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic components and equipment, including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes.

    · Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
