Position: Direct Hire Electrical Technician
Location: Randleman, NC
Shift: 1st
Pay: $20/hr - $25/hr
Job Overview:
We are hiring an Electrical Technician to join our fabrication and assembly team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in control panel building, machine wiring, and electrical troubleshooting. You’ll work hands-on with a variety of electrical components and systems in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and wire control panels from electrical schematics and layout drawings
- Wire custom machinery per project specifications and NEC codes
- Perform I/O checks, continuity tests, and assist in system debugging
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and bills of materials
- Document work and communicate discrepancies or changes to engineering
- Support occasional onsite installations and commissioning
- Follow all safety procedures and ensure compliance with UL 508A, NFPA 79, and NEC standards
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in control panel or industrial electrical work
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Familiarity with VFDs, PLCs, relays, terminal blocks, and sensors
- Skilled in use of hand and power tools for wiring and assembly
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with UL 508A panel building
- Familiarity with automation systems (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
- Field service or machine start-up experience
