    Description

    Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with an electric marine and defense organization, is seeking a skilled Electrical Integration Technician. This role is responsible for integrating high- and low-voltage electrical systems, troubleshooting wiring and communication faults, and supporting system calibration and validation on an advanced electric vessel. This is a hands-on, build-to-print position supporting prototype development, testing, and system bring-up.

    Job Duties

    • Integrate high- and low-voltage electrical systems, wiring harnesses, connectors, and electromechanical components
    • Troubleshoot electrical circuits, wiring harnesses, component faults, and system communication issues
    • Diagnose CAN bus communication faults, error codes, signal issues, and component connectivity
    • Perform system calibration, commissioning, validation, and electrical system bring-up
    • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, prints, and technical documentation
    • Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, high-pot testers, load banks, and related diagnostic equipment
    • Verify voltage, signal integrity, isolation, and communication between electrical components
    • Support prototype modifications, mechanical integration, field testing, and system validation activities

    Skills & Experience

    Required

    • 5+ years of marine/maritime experience or 10+ years of automotive electrical/system integration experience
    • 3–5 years of EV, electrification, battery, propulsion, or comparable high-voltage integration experience
    • Hands-on experience integrating and troubleshooting high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems
    • Experience with electrical wiring, harness integration, schematic interpretation, and electromechanical troubleshooting
    • Experience with prototype, pilot-production, custom-build, or comparable development environments
    • Proficiency with multimeters and electrical diagnostic/test equipment
    • Knowledge of high-voltage safety practices, isolation requirements, and electrical testing procedures
    • U.S. citizenship required for ITAR-controlled project access

    Desired

    • CAN bus diagnostics and experience with CAN analysis/diagnostic software
    • Experience with 400V–800V EV, battery, electric propulsion, or comparable high-voltage systems
    • Oscilloscope, high-pot tester, and load bank testing experience
    • BMS diagnostics, battery monitoring, or battery system integration experience
    • NMEA 2000 or other vehicle/marine communication protocol experience
    • Robotics, industrial automation, custom machine building, or field-service electromechanical experience
    • Marine electrical, electric propulsion, defense, aerospace, autonomous vehicle, UAV, or vehicle integration experience
    • Experience using torque wrenches, mechanical hand tools, impact tools, and drills
