    About the Opportunity

A leading defense manufacturer with a long-standing record of delivering mission-critical systems to the U.S. military is adding an Electrical Technician to their production team in Cincinnati. What You'll Do

    • Assemble electronic control panels, distribution panels, generator enclosures, and control devices using components including switches, relays, transformers, and wire harnesses
    • Install electrical components such as terminal blocks, governor controllers, voltage regulators, circuit breakers, relay assemblies, current transformers, and fuse assemblies
    • Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, engineering drawings, and wire lists — and proactively identify potential issues prior to installation
    • Test electrical connections using ohmmeters and other electronic testing equipment to verify continuity, resistance, shorts, and grounds per wiring diagram specifications
    • Perform electro-mechanical assembly, disassembly, rework, and basic test and repair on electronic products and mechanical assemblies
    • Complete panel installations including lights, receptacles, gauges, electronic instruments, legends, and instruction labels per engineering documentation
    • Operate hand tools and small power tools in compliance with all quality and safety standards

    What You'll Need

    • Minimum 5 years of electrical systems experience; 7+ years strongly preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to read and work from schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings without supervision
    • Experience with EMI connectors and cable building; knowledge of low-voltage wiring (24V AC/DC)
    • Proficiency with phase coloring and wire gauge identification
    • Hands-on experience with hand tools and small power tools
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or Vocational/Trade certification in electrical is a plus
    • Must be a U.S. Person as defined under ITAR/EAR export control regulations (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or protected individual under the INA)
    • Willingness to work overtime when operationally required

    Why This Role

This is a technically substantive electrical seat inside a defense manufacturer building systems that go to the field — day shift, competitive pay, and full benefits in a stable, mission-driven environment.
