These values are the cornerstone of Plastic Ingenuity.Role Summary:This position is responsible for a wide range of electrical duties involving the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of the electrical control systems for production, shop, and extrusion. Top priority and the primary emphasis are troubleshooting and assisting in the proper operation of production machinery. The Electrical Technician must be willing to devote whatever effort is necessary to keeping production machinery operational. This position works closely with production and engineering team members in the building and maintenance of machine control systems.This position encourages creative thinking to maintain internal systems at the cutting edge of control and computer technology.Accountable for:Collaborate with engineering and production.Responsible for mounting of electrical components and wiring in machine control cabinets and on machinesMeet and support production needs via technical solutionsTroubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a timely mannerAnalyze, track, and remediate root causes of problems, and determine preventative solutions.Participate in the design of any integration related to production or business needs.Minimum Qualifications: 2-year degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent experience in Electrical Technology fieldProficient with electrical troubleshooting and repairProficient with electrical wiringDesired Qualifications:Experience in wiring protocolsExperience with programming of variable frequency drives and servo amplifiersAbility to analyze problems, assess multiple options and provide clear recommendationsAbility to interact with company personnel, build strong relationships at all levels and across all business units and organizationsAbility to multi-task and work under tight deadlinesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailDesire for continual learning and personal developmentPlastic Ingenuity is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
