Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in Catoosa. This position is responsible for constructing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and testing electrical systems and components that support production equipment and facility operations. The successful candidate will ensure all electrical systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and applicable electrical codes.

Required Experience & Skills
High school diploma or GED required
Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Technician
Journeyman Electrician License required
Extensive knowledge of industrial electrical systems, wiring, and electrical equipment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Proficiency using manual and power tools
Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repair services supporting production, technical, and administrative operations
Diagnose and repair electrical equipment, machinery, and defective electrical components
Review work orders and communicate with machine operators to identify equipment problems and determine root causes
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to identify and correct potential equipment failures
Measure, cut, bend, and install wire and conduit using appropriate hand tools and measuring equipment
Install, maintain, and repair a wide variety of electrical systems and industrial equipment
Dig trenches or holes for conduit installation and equipment support when required
Thread conduit, install couplings, fabricate conduit supports, and secure electrical systems according to code
Communicate maintenance concerns that could impact production to supervisors and management
Perform all work on-site while following company safety procedures and electrical standards
Complete additional duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Industrial manufacturing or production maintenance experience
Experience with preventive maintenance programs and industrial troubleshooting
Strong understanding of electrical controls, motors, and production equipment
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and industrial safety practices
Physical Requirements
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in physically demanding positions throughout the shift
Ability to safely use ladders, power tools, and electrical testing equipment while wearing required PPE
Comfortable working in non-climate-controlled industrial environments
Work Environment
Industrial manufacturing facility
Exposure to electrical systems, production machinery, industrial equipment, and construction-related maintenance activities
Non-climate-controlled environment requiring compliance with all safety regulations and PPE requirements
