Your impact

Picture this: a short stoppage ripples through production. You trace the root of the issue—was it a DeviceNet node, a DH+ segment, or an HMI alarm concealing a photo eye fault? You move fluidly from schematics to PLC logic, from a limit switch to an encoder, confirming each step with proven test methods. You not only fix the fault—you improve the test, document it for the work order, and teach a teammate how to run it next time.

Core responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and validate electrical and control systems, including power service, motor starters, and both high/low voltage circuits.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, DH+) to quickly restore operation.
• Work with field instrumentation: photo eyes, prox sensors, encoders, and limit switches.
• Execute equipment tests using standard electrical test equipment; document results completely.
• Refine test procedures and train others to execute them accurately.
• Perform preventive and general maintenance on production and facilities assets.
• Lead or contribute to cross‑functional root‑cause analysis within a High Performance Organization; recommend and champion continuous improvements.
• Partner with external contractors on installations and upgrades as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of plant maintenance experience.
• Proven ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot PLC/solid‑state control circuits.
• Proficiency with multimeters and standard electrical diagnostic tools.
• Working knowledge of Windows.

Technology environment

• Allen‑Bradley PLC platforms
