Electrical Service Manager

A well-established local electrical contractor is looking to add an experienced Electrical Service Manager to their team. The company has a strong backlog of local commercial and industrial projects and is looking for someone who can lead service work and keep customers taken care of.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Service Manager who wants to grow with an established local contractor and focus on work in the local market rather than constant travel.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the electrical service team
• Oversee service calls, small projects, and special projects from start to finish
• Coordinate scheduling, manpower, materials, and equipment
• Maintain strong customer relationships and respond to service needs
• Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and company leadership
• Ensure service work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality
• Support estimating and quoting for service and small project work
• Troubleshoot field issues and help develop solutions
• Monitor service backlog and keep work moving
• Train and mentor service technicians as needed

Requirements:

• Previous Electrical Service Manager, Service Project Manager, or similar experience
• Strong commercial and/or industrial electrical background
• Ability to lead technicians and manage multiple service jobs
• Strong customer-facing communication skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications preferred
• Knowledge of the local electrical market is a plus
