Electrical Schematic & Panel Layout Drafter (AutoCAD)

You start your day in your home workspace, open AutoCAD, and step into a new build for a client that manufactures electrical distribution equipment. You have ownership of the drafting package—wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and schematics—and a friendly engineering team ready to collaborate as needed. It’s a full-time, remote role where you’ll see a project through from kickoff to release, balancing precision with timelines.

What you’ll do

• Produce meticulous wiring diagrams, panel arrangements, and schematic sets using AutoCAD and BPP tools.
• Own your queue, tracking milestones and keeping deliverables aligned with project schedules.
• Iterate quickly—folding in feedback from production and engineering to refine drawings.
• Proactively surface risks or clashes to project leads before they become blockers.
• Apply company drafting standards and relevant electrical codes to every deliverable.

What you bring

• 3+ years of electrical drafting experience, with emphasis on control panels or power distribution.
• Deep AutoCAD proficiency, including tool palettes, custom blocks, and layer management.
• Skill interpreting electrical schematics, diagrams, and detailed customer specifications.
• Working knowledge of NEC, UL 891, UL 1558, and applicable ANSI/IEEE standards for panel wiring.
• Exceptional attention to detail and clear, concise communication.
