  • Proficiency in BIM/VDC tools, such as: Autodesk Revit (required) and Navisworks Manage (for clash detection/coordination)
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, NEC standards, and construction workflows (routing, supports, equipment coordination, and field installation constraints)
  • Ability to interpret engineered drawings, specifications, and coordination requirements
  • Extrapolate necessary information from equipment submittals or vendor websites and cutsheets
  • Experience producing shop drawings/spools and supporting prefabrication or field installation (preferred)
  • Familiarity with multi-trade coordination processes and BIM execution standards
  • Read and understand trade partner’s contract/shop drawings
Preferred:
  • Experience in healthcare, mission-critical, industrial, or large commercial projects
  • Knowledge of coordination for low-voltage systems (security, structured cabling, AV, nurse call, EPMS, BAS/BMS, lighting controls, etc.)
  • Autodesk Construction Cloud / Forma or similar collaboration platforms
  • Field experience or prior electrical trade background
  • Relevant certifications (Autodesk, BIM/VDC training, etc.)
  • Additional software and programming experience with AutoCAD / Revit API / Dynamo / C# / Python
