Location: Richland, WA

Per Diem : $216 per day for 7 days

MOB and De MOB : Yes 
Working schedule : 4 days a week 10 hours a day

Job Description:-
Provides technical and support services (and in some instances direct oversight and governance services) to Mechanical Enterprise Risk Projects that will ultimately allow the Project Manager to execute project deliverables with quality, safety, on schedule, within budget, and in the most effective manner possible.
They are considered an authority and an expert in their applicable field with supporting field experience and knowledge of best practices and current code requirements. They have and leverage skillsets that challenge the quality of the execution strategies and validate readiness of the project to deliver successful execution of projects and/or deliverables that improve project schedules, reduce project cost, and/or reduce or eliminate project risks.
They work directly for the CPM Manager or RMM Manager and with Project Managers of Enterprise Risk projects.

Job Responsibilities

Principal Accountabilities
Technical:
•    Review key project documentation with the intent to identify, where appropriate, strategies can be refined and/or resources can be applied to improve schedule performance, result in better quality, and/or result in a more efficient use of resources.
•    Throughout the process of these iterative reviews, identify errors or general misconceptions that need to be corrected for successful project implementation.
•    Key project documentation includes, but is not limited to:
o    Project Schedule, including work management and project lifecycle schedules
o    Implementation Means & Methods, both EN and Vendor
o    Risk Register
o    Work Orders & Associated Documentation, including weld records, ASME Section XI repair and replacement plans, field sketches, etc.
o    Quality Control Inspections & Hold Points
o    Test & Commissioning Plans
o    Clearance Orders & Turnover Strategy
o    Materials, Tools & Specialty Tooling
o    Resource Load Boards, including mobilization and demobilization strategy
o    Budget / Estimate, specifically surrounding assumptions, constraints, unit rates, wage rates, etc.
o    Radiological Strategies, including balance between contamination controls and consideration for work scope, decontamination strategies, etc.
o    Rigging / Material Handling Plans
•    Validate the quality of all Work Order Tasks (WOT) associated with assigned scope prior to field activities and IAW Columbia work management processes, both online and outage.
•    Remediate identified WOTs that lack quality, contain incorrect references, introduce error traps, and/or contain poorly written instructions.
•    Review, comment, and provide improvements to testing and/or acceptance plans, including factory, shop, site, mock-up, and post-modification plans.
•    Identify activities and/or processes that would benefit from a mock-up and provide input and guidance on making such mock-ups effective and impactful.
•    Communicate personal Operating Experience and identify industry and/or similar Operating Experiences associated with project activities.
•    Develop response strategies that should be considered for each Operating Experience example.
•    As needed, serve as the ASME PIC for Section XI Repair & Replacement Plan work scope.

Governance
•    Maintain broad knowledge of associated codes, standards, innovative technologies, technical skillsets such as welding, rigging, soldering, etc., implementation strategies such as crew placement and turnovers, and general industry trends as related to the Enterprise Risk Projects being supported.

Oversight:
•    Provide timely and candid feedback to the Project Manager(s), Oversight Manager(s), and Department Management on all aspects of a project strategy, implementation plan, or any other facet that supports successful execution of a project.
•    As needed, provide oversight of shop or field activities, ensuring activities are progressing against the approved project strategy and providing coaching as needed to preclude changes in the plan.
•    As needed, serve as the designated person in charge of project activities on the shift opposite of the Project Manager. Such instances may require oversight of crews greater than 50 individuals.
Support
•    Coordinate resources and collaborate with vendor resources to ensure roadblocks are identified and removed.
•    As needed, attend in-person key strategy meetings with the Project Manager. Meetings could include, but are not limited to:
o    Design Review Boards
o    Steering Committees
o    Integrated Implementation Briefings
o    High Risk Work Plan Challenge Meetings
o    Project Readiness/Challenge Meetings
o    Schedule Development Meetings
o    Risk Management Meetings
o    Other meetings as assigned

Qualifications

Skills and Experience
•    Experience with the production and operational processes at a commercial nuclear powerplant.
•    Experience in multiple refueling outages at a commercial nuclear powerplant.
•    Skilled in Enterprise Management Software, including Asset Suite, SAP, etc.
•    Intimately familiar with logic-driven schedules generated by Primavera and/or Microsoft Project.
•    Knowledge of code and regulatory requirements as they relate to maintenance and field work activities.
•    Knowledge of error reduction and human performance improvement methods.
•    Knowledge of cost-effective work execution methodologies.
•    Knowledge of procedures and processes related to maintenance and engineering activities.
•    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
•    Advanced computer skills.
