Job Title: Electrical Engineering Project Manager
Job Description
The Electrical Engineering Project Manager leads custom high-voltage testing equipment projects from initial design through final delivery. This role combines deep electrical engineering expertise with hands-on project leadership to drive execution, manage schedules, and ensure complex systems operating at up to 70,000 volts and 10,000 amps are delivered on time, within scope, and to exacting safety and quality standards. You will work in a fast-paced environment, proactively conduct project reviews, coordinate cross-functional teams, and collaborate directly with customers, vendors, and shop personnel to create custom-engineered solutions for demanding industrial and utility applications.

Work Environment
You will work in a small, close-knit engineering and operations team of approximately 11 people based in Fenton, where there is significant opportunity for growth, leadership, and direct impact on company outcomes. The environment emphasizes custom-engineered solutions for high-voltage and high-current products serving electric utilities, electric motors ranging from small HVAC units to massive pumps, and end-of-line quality testing equipment. Projects often involve designing and building specialized test fixtures for customer-supplied parts, including applications such as firing 70,000 volts through bushings and performing high-current tests. You will experience broad project ownership, high visibility, direct access to leadership, and the ability to drive meaningful change with less bureaucracy than is typical in larger organizations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $39.00 - $53.00/hr.
