    Wachter is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee Critical Power and Industrial Electrical projects. You will manage high-volume commercial electrical accounts throughout all five phases of the project life cycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/controlling, and closeout. This role serves as a primary face of the company, requiring exceptional customer relations, technical knowledge, and operational leadership.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Project & Account Management
    • Plan, grow, oversee, and direct high-volume commercial electrical accounts.
    • Manage project scheduling, billing, and logistical support.
    • Review customer specifications, contracts, and cost estimates.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive project files.
    • Ensure all projects adhere to company safety standards and OSHA requirements.
    Financial & Estimating Operations
    • Manage the process of sourcing, evaluating, and estimating bid opportunities.
    • Create bid sheets, contractual proposals, and project budgets.
    • Monitor budgets, resources, and overall project progress.
    • Provide weekly and monthly financial forecasting and revenue projection reports.
    Supply Chain & Quality Control
    • Order all materials and equipment for assigned projects.
    • Perform quality and safety audits on all materials and equipment.
    Team Leadership & Operations
    • Oversee daily operational tasks including interviewing, hiring, and payroll approval.
    • Assign resources and delegate tasks effectively through team resources.
    • Perform site walks, surveys, and technical training at customer locations.
    • Build rapport and maintain day-to-day communication with clients and stakeholders.
     
    Job Requirements:
    Experience & Education
    • Experience: Minimum 2 years of project management experience required.
    • Technical Background: Electrical experience is strictly required.
    • Education: College education preferred, but not required.
    • Industry Experience: Project management in Construction, Technology, or related fields is helpful.
    Technical Skills
    • Proficiency with computers, including email, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office.
    • Ability to type at least 40 WPM.
    • Experience working with engineered drawings, bid specifications, and construction take-offs is helpful.
       
    Preferred Specialized Knowledge (Pluses)
    • Experience with CAT5 systems.
