    SUMMARY:
    The Prefab Electricial Tech is responsible for assembling electrical components including junctions boxes, light fixtures, pre-bending conduit, uni-strut, large wire cuts and supporting electrical systems and components within generator enclosures. This role includes hands-on electrical work as well as pre-fabrication and material staging to ensure efficient production flow and high-quality output.
     
    Responsibilities 
    Prefab Electrical Work
    • Prefabricate Junction boxes.
    • Prefabricate Light fixtures.
    • Prefabricate Pre-bend conduit.
    • Prefabricate Uni-strut.
    • Prefabricate Large wire cuts.
    Material Handling & Staging
    • Stage electrical material carts when enclosures are ready
    • Clean electrical material carts when work is complete
    • Stock scaffolding materials and organize shelving
    • Stage customer-supplied components using forklifts and pallet jacks

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
    High School Diploma/GED, plus related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
     
    LANGUAGE SKILLS
    Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
     
    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
    Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
     
    REASONING ABILITY
    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
