    Role: Lead Systems Engineer / Integration Lead

    Role Overview
    This is a hands-on systems engineering role responsible for the electrical architecture and power system integration across advanced vehicle platforms.
    The engineer will ensure that all electrical subsystems—including power, propulsion, communications, and autonomy interfaces—function as a complete, reliable, and testable system, not just individual components.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Own full electrical architecture, including:
      • Power budgeting
      • Distribution
      • Redundancy planning
      • Growth margin considerations
    • Specify and procure critical components:
      • Batteries
      • Motor controllers
      • Power distribution systems
    • Define and manage electrical interfaces across:
      • Autonomy systems
      • Sensors
      • Communications
      • Payload systems
    • Design/review:
      • Wiring harnesses
      • Cable routing
      • Connector selection (marine-grade considerations)
    • Lead prototype integration:
      • System bring-up
      • Fault detection and troubleshooting
    • Identify and manage risks related to:
      • Power systems
      • Environmental exposure
      • Integration complexity
    • Ensure battery safety:
      • Monitoring
      • Thermal management
    • Support testing and validation:
      • Define acceptance criteria
      • Assist with test & evaluation planning
    • Maintain documentation:
      • Electrical configurations
      • As-built system records
    Required Qualifications
    • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
    • 5+ years of experience in:
      • Vehicle electrical systems
      • Defense / autonomous systems / marine integration
    • Hands-on experience with:
      • Lithium battery systems and Client
      • Electric motors and controllers
    • Experience in harsh operating environments:
      • Vibration
      • Corrosion
      • EMI
    • Strong experience with:
      • Wiring harness design
      • Connectors and system documentation
