Maintain electrical power for lighting and equipment, detect malfunctions, and perform electrical repair and installation.

- Repair electrical systems and equipment and handle preventive maintenance.
- Requisition material and supplies.
- Install switches, receptacles and lights.
- Complete work orders, PM's and other records in an accurate and timely manner.
- Perform tests on power circuits, distribution panels.
- Maintain the tube system.
- Perform any emergency service required for the safety of personnel, building and equipment.
- Perform generator maintenance and testing.
- Assist in electrical related tasks involving building component installation, maintenance, demolition, renovation and repair.
- Monitor facilities for needed repairs, maintenance, safety concerns and hazardous materials.
- Respond to fire and other emergencies.
Qualifications
Education Required
- High School Diploma or GED required. Two years of trade school, college, or equulavent preferred.
License, Certification and/or Registration
- Journeyman licensing or certification preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record.
Experience
- Preferred six years experience or comparable combination of education and experience.
