Job Details
Key Responsibilities
Install and troubleshoot industrial electrical wiring, conduit, power distribution, and control systems.
Maintain and repair robots, presses, welders, furnaces, motors, and automated production equipment.
Diagnose and repair PLCs, HMIs, sensors, relays, switches, transformers, motors, VFDs, and other controls.
Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical systems.
Use PLCs, computers, and diagnostic equipment to identify equipment failures and restore production.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
Perform preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, and corrective repairs.
Diagnose root causes of equipment failures and help minimize production downtime.
Follow all OSHA, electrical safety, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Work closely with maintenance and production teams to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Identify required parts, materials, and equipment needed for repairs.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Journeyman Electrician license OR Electro-Mechanical degree required.
Industrial electrical, manufacturing maintenance, automation, or controls experience preferred.
Experience with PLC troubleshooting, industrial controls, motors, sensors, VFDs, hydraulics, and pneumatics strongly preferred.
Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot complex equipment.
Ability to stand/walk 8–9 hours per day and regularly lift up to 35 lbs., with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
