Construction Trades Staffing has partnered with a well‑established manufacturing company in Niagara Falls, NY.  We are looking for a skilled  Electrical Maintenance Technician. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced industrial environment and has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.

This is a full-time position, working from 7am – 7pm (Days) or 7pm – 7am (Nights) on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, reporting to the Facilities Manager and Electrical Supervisor.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Diagnose equipment failures and implement timely repairs to minimize downtime
  • Conduct routine inspections and document maintenance activities
  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications
  • Maintain safe work practices in accordance with OSHA and company safety standards
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure equipment reliability and performance
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies

Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with PLCs, motors, conveyors, pumps, and industrial machinery preferred
  • Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically active environment
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training a plus
