Electrical Maintenance Technician

Location: Hiram, OH

We’re seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in a manufacturing facility. This role is suited to someone who can handle common equipment issues independently and work with the maintenance team on more complex repairs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to production equipment issues and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Repair and maintain production machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to support troubleshooting and repairs.
• Troubleshoot PLC controlled equipment and use PLC diagnostics to help identify faults.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Identify recurring problems and help develop lasting fixes.
• Request parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Follow plant safety procedures and food manufacturing quality practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or an associate’s degree is preferred.
• Three or more years of industrial maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting production equipment, electrical systems, motors, sensors, and controls.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read schematics and use standard diagnostic tools.
• Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting; PLC programming experience is a plus.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with workplace safety practices.
