    Description

    We are looking for an Electrical Instrumentation Technician to join our Martinsburg, WV team. As an Electrical Instrumentation Technician with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials you will support manufacturing operations by installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and electronic equipment.

    About the Role 

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee computer-controlled plant equipment, including process controls and emission monitors.
    • Maintain power distribution, instrumentation, and control systems.
    • Plan and manage electrical and instrumentation regulatory programs.
    • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and instrumentation equipment as needed.
    • Respond to supervisor requests for resets and fuses.
    • Install power and control wiring as necessary.
    • Attend company training for safety and equipment updates.
    • Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
    • Practice safe work habits and adhere to safety policies, always wearing appropriate PPE.
    • Take on additional duties as assigned.
    • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards during maintenance tasks.
    • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on plant motors, circuit breakers, transformers, and related equipment.
    • Be available for emergency callouts outside regular shifts.
    • Work collaboratively and individually to ensure timely repairs and thorough maintenance inspections.
    • Familiar with electrical symbols, diagrams, and the ability to research solutions using electronic and printed resources
     

    About You

    We Require:

    • A high school diploma or GED.
    • Minimum of certification(s) in Industrial Electrical principles or related field.
    • Must have Industrial Electrical experience
    • Good organizational and math skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
