Description

Summary:

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Work Mode: Onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Develop wire harness and cable routing designs in the CATIA V6 design environment.
  • Create engineering installation design drawings, electronic equipment installation designs, and detail part designs for military aircraft.
  • Handle ENOVIA object creation, route creation, and drawing release of engineering drawing products.
  • Support the development of wiring diagrams, system architecture, equipment lists, parts lists, component data sheets, and related engineering documents.
  • Coordinate with other groups and disciplines, including Wire Data Design, Airframe, Fluid Systems, etc., for product development.
  • Provide support to the manufacturing team to create wire harnesses and assist with aircraft harness and cable installation efforts.

Requirements:

  • Experience in CATIA V5 and/or CATIA V6 for system installation design.
  • Familiarity with Mil-W-5088/SAE-AS50881 and associated specifications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of wire harness construction and troubleshooting techniques.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with relevant experience and demonstrated proficiency in the discipline is required.
