JAD Electrical is seeking a motivated and reliable Electrical Helper to support our lead mechanics and technicians on residential and commercial jobs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in the electrical trade and learn from experienced professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist lead mechanics with installations, repairs, and service work.
- Pull wire, run conduit, install devices, and support rough and finish electrical tasks.
- Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment on job sites.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow direction from senior electricians and learn proper techniques.
- Support accurate documentation, material tracking, and job site setup/breakdown.
- Represent JAD Electrical with professionalism at all times.
Requirements:
- Some experience in the electrical field preferred but not required.
- Willingness to learn and grow under senior electricians.
- Ability to take direction and work as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on ladders, in crawl spaces, and other physical environments.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
Preferred Skills: (Not Required)
- Prior residential or commercial electrical exposure.
- OSHA 10 certification.
- Ability to read basic plans or diagrams.
